Ben Simmons made his 76ers debut at the Salt Lake City Summer League tonight.
Although he only played for 23 minutes the No.1 pick certainly didn't disappoint. Simmons finished up with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. His leadership on the court was obvious as he showed us glimpses of his incredible court vision and passing.
Although Simmons only shot 67% from the line during college, he looked composed tonight as his first 6 points came at the line as he shot a perfect 6/6.
Simmons suffered late game cramping in both legs which derailed his chances of seeing out the end of the fourth quarter, but despite his early exit he still finished with a team high 9+ +/-
76ers coaching staff have announced the decision to rest Simmons in the upcoming game against the San Antonio Spurs.
